The SCC does not have coin shows, however the SCC does encourage members to "show & tell" numismatic items at most regular monthly meetings. Each month there is a suggested "Table Topic" for these displays (see the calendar), however, the monthly displays can also feature new acquisitions or Pacific Northwest.

One member is selected to receive a special prize in a random drawing from among those who bring items to "show & tell," and an additional award is also made based on the votes of club members. This is a very popular and interesting feature at SCC meetings. To avoid excessively lengthy meetings, each member should limit discussion of their items to about one or two minutes. Members who have more to say about their collecting specialty should consider volunteering to give a program.

For collectors who wish to "take it to the next level" with showcase-style educational exhibits, the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association and the American Numismatic Association have competitive exhibiting at their annual conventions. See the PNNA exhibit page for more information.
