The Seattle Coin Club encourages participation by serious YNs at its regular monthly meetings.

According to SCC President Rick Schulz, "I want to remind everyone that we do have a Young Collectors program and encourage everyone to bring along your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews and anyone else that might be interested in our hobby. Every month, anyone under the age of 18 will receive a punch card worth five dollars they can use to make purchases from our Young Collector’s Market tub which contains items donated by you and priced in 25-cent increments. Every month they come to a meeting, they’ll receive a new punch card. Recipients of the punch cards can spend their five dollars every month or save their punches for a higher priced item. As for the rest of us, I’m asking that you please consider donating to the Young Collector’s Market tub with any items (coins, currency, tokens, medals, supplies) that you can spare. This, in part, is how we keep kids interested in numismatics. This is how we grow as a club."
