December 20, 2012 club meeting. The display topic was
"Tokens," and this meeting also featured the club's annual potluck and gift exchange.

November 15, 2012 club meeting. The display topic was
"History—Items that depict historic people or events." Alan Anderson, a member
of the Tacoma-Lakewood Coin Club, drove from Olympia to speak about death and estate
planning for numismatists.

October 18, 2012 club meeting. The display topic was "U.S. Numismatics."
Marc Duvall, in his continuing series on European history, spoke on "French Royalty" and
the problems associated with their rule.

September 20, 2012 club meeting. The display topic was "Paper
- currency, documents or other?" Dave Schmidt spoke on "Norse American Medals."

Puyallup Fair –
September 7-23, 2012 – The PNNA sponsors the annual coin exhibit in the Hobby Hall, with assistance from several local coin
clubs including the SNS. No volunteer is knowledgeable about all aspects of numismatics — if your
question wasn't answered or if you were unable to attend the Fair, please e-mail your question to
info@pnna.org, and it will be directed to a local expert. The
PNNA's Hobby Hall coordinator is Rick Schulz.

June 21, 2012 club meeting. The display topic was "Commemorative Issues."

May 17, 2012 club meeting. Scott Loos gave a follow-up to the
slide show presented earlier on "Hellenistic Monarchies." Many of the coins presented
contained portraits of Egyptian Rulers. Other coins were from Syria, Cyprus and Syracuse.
They all predated Christ. The display topic was "Tokens and Medals," and there were
several on-topic displays.

April 19, 2012 club meeting. The speaker topic was "What is
the Oldest Numismatic Item?" by Marc Duvall. The display topic was "In with the New—New or
recent coin issues."

March 15, 2012 club meeting. The topic was "Out with the Old—Older coin issues, historical etc."

February 16, 2012 was the SNS Annual Club Banquet and Auction.

January 26, 2012 club meeting (rescheduled due to weather
conditions). This meeting featured the annual display runoff.
